Why am I here?

It seems that everyone has a blog these days so one must consider what use another one might be to the online world. The reality is that probably for most moms, another blog will just be another entertaining (hopefully) rest stop while going about the busy endeavors of mommy-hood. There's so many choices to make, things to do, kiddos to pay attention to, grow up and love on that our days can seem to be an ever replicating pile of dishes, laundry and half crossed off to do lists. And yet there is so much joy along the way. My hope is that this place can be a spot to share ideas that make mommy-hood easier and more fun. Each day I strive to keep my kid safe, teach them about God, have fun and make them feel loved. If I can say I accomplished those things at the end of my day I consider it a success... anything beyond those things is just gravy.

A little bit more about me.
I have been married to an amazing man since Oct of 2000. After struggling with infertility for several years we finally gave birth to a son, named Jack last May. I've worked with kids as a nanny, teacher and camp counselor for many years before becoming a mom and am enjoying the process of putting those experiences into play as I discover my own mommy style.

I get a kick out of finding things that make life and parenting easier. This will be the main focus of my blog. Coming up next... my favorite baby purchases: Happy Hangup, Wrapsody Baby Wrap, and the Graco Pack and Play Sport. Also, my favorite homemade baby toys and baby board books.
